Bulgaria's Foreign Minister Ivaylo Kalfin has called for the dismissal of the country's Ambassador to Finland Venelin Tsatchevski.

Tsatchevski had committed financial and accounting violations and a probe into the Embassy in Helsinki has proven that there were many mistakes and lapses in the accounting books and the internal structure of the mission there.

The investigation showed that Tsatchevski had the habit of selling alcohol to outsiders, and created unfavourable work conditions in the Embassy.

Some of the other employees of the mission will receive disciplinary punishments, media reported.
