Bulgaria has already executed 40% of the action plan adopted after the latest critical report of the European Commission presented in September.
Bulgaria's Foreign Ministry sent the first part of the report on its work to Brussels, Foreign Minister Ivaylo Kalfin announced Friday. He also vowed confidence that should reforms keep on developing at such speed Bulgaria will be able to fulfil all of its tasks until September.
Meanwhile, Euro-integration Minister Meglena Kuneva expressed her satisfaction with the report. She also said that she hoped that the monitoring report that the EC will present in the autumn would be the last one ahead of Bulgaria's entry into the EU.
I am almost sure that the decision for Bulgaria's entry into the EU would be taken in October, Kuneva underlined.
After meeting Employment and Social Affairs Commissioner Vladimir Spidla Kuneva specified that there are no specific cases for crime and corruption fight stated in the report.
